Costa Palmas, near La Ribera on the East Cape, is spread out. The distances between the marina, the golf course, the beach club and the residences are longer than in any corridor community, and the roads are flat and private, which is close to ideal for a golf cart.
It also means range and comfort matter more here. A tired battery that copes in Palmilla will not cover a Costa Palmas day.

Most Costa Palmas households take a 6 seater, and often the forward-facing version: it carries guests and golf bags on the longer internal runs without anyone riding backwards. Homes that host frequently sometimes go to the 8 seater.
The City model is popular with owners who want an enclosed, car-like vehicle for daily use inside the development.
Delivery to the East Cape
We deliver to Costa Palmas and La Ribera by trailer from San José del Cabo, scheduled with a confirmed arrival window. Purchases are delivered with the cart charged, tested and walked through on site.
Rentals include delivery and pickup on stays of four days or more. Shorter rentals carry the single $90 USD delivery fee.
Service on the East Cape
Our mobile service vans travel out to Costa Palmas and La Ribera on scheduled visits for maintenance, battery replacement and lithium conversions on any brand. Given the distance, we group visits and keep parts for the models we supply so a fix does not turn into a week of waiting.
Buying and renting
New carts run $14,000 to $16,500 USD depending on model and configuration. Rentals are $110 USD per day for a 6 seater and $85 for a 4 seater, before 16% IVA, with long-stay rates from two weeks.
Golf carts are not street-legal on public roads or the federal highway. Inside Costa Palmas the roads are private, so you drive freely across the development.
