The most common repair request we get in Los Cabos is a cart that no longer finishes the day. Nine times out of ten the batteries are the problem, not the motor. Heat, salt air and months of sitting unused are hard on lead-acid packs here.

Lithium conversion from $2,000 USD
A conversion starts around $2,000 USD depending on the pack size and what the cart needs. It includes the lithium battery, the battery management system, the correct charger, the wiring and mounting work, and testing before the cart goes back to you.
After the conversion, the cart is lighter, climbs better, charges faster, needs no watering and shows an exact charge percentage instead of a vague bar gauge.
Replace the batteries or buy a new cart?
If the frame, body and suspension are sound, converting is usually the better spend. If the cart is already rusted through, out of parts support, or you were going to change size anyway, the money is better placed in a new cart.
We give an honest answer after looking at it, because we would rather keep a customer than sell one cart.
