Taxes and the numbers people forget
Mexican IVA is 16% and applies to sales and rentals. We always show it broken out rather than folding it into a single figure. There is no import paperwork for you to handle on a cart bought here, and no cross-border shipping or customs cost.
Compare that with a used cart imported privately: the shipping, the import handling, an unknown battery age and no local warranty usually erase whatever the sticker saved.
