Palmilla's exception covers local streets inside the area. The federal highway is never legal for a golf cart, and crossing or driving along it is both an infraction and genuinely dangerous. If your plan involves getting to Cabo San Lucas or the airport, that leg goes by car or private transportation.
Which models Palmilla residents choose
Because the terrain is gentle, the choice is driven by people and gear rather than power. Couples take a 4 seater; families take a 6 seater; households that use the cart daily for errands and shopping often go with the City model, which is the most car-like of our range.
Golf members usually want the forward-facing layouts, so bags ride in the back without anyone sitting backwards.
Rent first, buy later
Many Palmilla owners rent for a season before buying, which is a sensible way to learn what size you actually use. Rentals start at $85 USD per day for a 4 seater and $110 for a 6 seater, before 16% IVA, with delivery included on stays of four days or more.
New carts run $14,000 to $16,500 USD depending on model and configuration, delivered in Palmilla with local warranty.
